Family Fun in the Exe Valley!

Devon Railway Centre is a popular Devon tourist attraction, offers a unique railway experience and boasts a host of attractions in one location. We offer an interactive fun filled day out. Our two railways give unlimited train rides along the Exe Valley and opportunities for you to become involved! Children can wave the flag to start our trains.

Explore our superb under cover model exhibition with push buttons which control the trains. Why not drive your own train (for the under 10s) and have a round of crazy golf? Enjoy a picnic at our riverside picnic area or have a bite to eat in the surroundings of our restored Victorian Station.

EDWARDIAN MODEL VILLAGE & PLAY AREA

Enjoy a stroll through our Edwardian Model Village with working models, trains and a tram. Delight in watching the miniature folk attending to their daily chores. Explore the details in the shop windows and look out for the names on the shops!

Enjoy the challenge of our castle themed play area for our younger visitors. A thrill for the more adventurous yet a delight for the less experienced!
